ASICS to become presenting partner of the 2024 Gold Coast Marathon

The Gold Coast Marathon and its long-term partner, ASICS Oceania is today proud to announce the extension of their partnership, with the event to be re-named The Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS.

The name change reflects the longstanding and ever-growing partnership between the two brands and comes off the back of a sell-out 2024 marathon race, with more than 10,000 participants gearing up to showcase their endurance on Sunday 7th July.

Events Management Queensland Chairman, Paul Donovan said the ASICS partnership was incredibly important to the event.

“We are delighted that our longest running sponsor, of more than 20 years, will take on the mantle of presenting partner for the marathon.

“The relationship we have with ASICS has evolved over the many years they have been on board – we have a mutual respect for the products we deliver and that has led to a sustainable and successful long-term partnership.

“We look forward to their involvement over coming years including naming rights of the ASICS Sport & Leisure Expo, the hub for participant registration and race kit collection and home of the popular ASICS pop-up store.”

ASICS Oceania Managing Director Mark Brunton had nothing but praise for the Gold Coast Marathon having enjoyed a long and healthy relationship with the event.
