The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon is an official qualifying race for the 2025 AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) Age Group World Rankings. This event is open to anyone aged over 40 years old in the following age groups 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ and you could earn an invite to the AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel Age Group World Championships!

The qualifying period for the seventh edition of the AbbottWMM Marathon Tours & Travel (MTT) Age Group World Rankings runs from Jan. 01 – Dec. 31, 2025. The 2025 AbbottWMM MTT Age Group World Championship will be held within the TCS New York City Marathon, whilst the location of the 2026 AbbottWMM MTT Age Group World Championships will be announced in due course.

The Abbott World Marathon Majors (AbbottWMM) is a series of seven of the largest and most renowned marathons in the world – Tokyo Marathon, Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America, TCS London Marathon, BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS, Bank of America Chicago Marathon and TCS New York City Marathon.
