What are Charity Places?
The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon has provided a limited number of Charity Place Entries to its official Charity Partners. These entries provide successful applicants with a free and guaranteed spot in the 42.195km ASICS Gold Coast Marathon or 21.0975km China Airlines Half Marathon event in exchange for a minimum amount raised for our charity partners.
How much do I need to raise to become a Charity Place Runner?
To secure a Charity Place, applicants must raise at least $2,000 for one of our charity parnters. These vital funds will help our charities continue their incredible work, delivering essential services, advancing research, and providing crucial support within our communities.

This year, every step you take can help make a difference. As the official GC Marathon charity partner, the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is dedicated to ensuring both locals and visitors to the Gold Coast have access to the best possible health care when it is needed most providing vital medical equipment and crucial services for those suffering critical health challenges.
The emergency accommodation service helps over 100 families each year stay close by. In an instant, life can change. When a loved one is fighting for life in ICU, the last thing families should worry about is finding a place to stay.

The Gold Coast Community Fund (GCCF) is a charity dedicated to empowering lives and building a stronger Gold Coast community. With a deep commitment to supporting those vulnerable on the Gold Coast, the Gold Coast Community Fund for the past 25 years has helped families and individuals in a time of need with a hand up, not a handout.
The GCCF is run entirely by volunteers, so as you run the Gold Coast Marathon you can be confident that your donations are allocated as effectively as possible to Gold Coasters in need.

Domestic Violence Prevention Centre
Domestic Violence Prevention Centre (DVPC) is the Gold Coast’s specialist domestic and family violence not-for-profit service, offering crisis support, counselling, court support, group work and education to address domestic and family violence. DVPC works with women, children, young people, men, and non-binary people to end domestic and family violence. With 29 years of service, we coordinate key initiatives like the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Integrated Response, empowering individuals and fostering community awareness. Our vision: Everyone is safe to live with justice, freedom and hope in their family, community and country.

Running for Premature Babies
Please use your ASICS Gold Coast Marathon entry to make a tangible difference to the lives of the most fragile patients and their families. Fundraise for cutting edge neonatal equipment for hospitals in need throughout Australia, and you’ll help save a baby’s life. Simply commit to raising at least $2,000 for Running for Premature Babies and receive a guaranteed, free race registration to the Gold Coast Marathon or Half Marathon as well as a running singlet and running cap.

Pancare Foundation are a leading charity committed to inspiring hope, raising awareness, supporting families and funding research for upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers.
