The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon and Half Marathon has reached capacity, and there will be no more large-scale releases of entries available.

Existing entrants have until 31 May 2024 to request a refund or change distance. Entries that have been returned for a refund or become available when people transfer out of a race will be released to the waitlist. We will still be honouring the waitlist on a first come, first served basis.

While we do get requests for refunds and transfers each day, it is impossible for us to predict how many places will become available between now and our deadline of 31 May 2024, nor how many people above you on the waitlist will accept their offer.

If you are looking to purchase an entry that you may see for sale online through Facebook (for example), please be vigilant, fake groups and scammers are very active. Please contact the office on 07 5668 9888 to check the validity of an entry before making payment. We also suggest using the goods and services payment function in PayPal so you have an option to request a refund if the seller turns out to not be legitimate. Please note, the friends and family payment option on PayPal does not allow you to request a refund from PayPal.

Finally, if you are looking to race in any distance at the Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS weekend, the Southern Cross University 10km race is currently 85% sold out and likely to sell out soon. If you enter another distance and are offered a place from the waitlist, you will be able to upgrade.
