T100 Gold Coast 10km Run – The Coast is Calling. Run with it!

Entries have opened for an exciting new 10km run showcasing the Gold Coast’s stunning coastline around Surfers Paradise as part of the inaugural Gold Coast T100 Triathlon over 21-22 March, 2026.

The mass participation 10km run will be a feature of the two-day triathlon multi-sport festival which is headlined by professional races involving the world’s top 20 female and top 20 male triathletes.

It will also feature mass participation 100km (2km swim, 80km bike, 18km run) and Olympic distance triathlons for amateur athletes, which have already proven extremely popular with the community after the 100km race sold out in just nine days.

Competitors for the T100 Gold Coast 10km run will be able to take in the stunning Gold Coast coastline before finishing in Surfers Paradise.

Entries for the 10km event are now open via the T100 website.

Events Management Queensland (EMQ) CEO Ben Mannion said the new 10km event along the Gold Coast’s fast and flat course provided a unique opportunity for competitors to take part in an internationally renowned event.

“The T100 Gold Coast 10km Run presents a great opportunity for amateur athletes to test themselves along the Gold Coast’s beautiful 10km course alongside an event that will host the world’s greatest triathletes,” said Mannion.

“We are really excited to see how fast the competitors can go in what will create a great spectacle to complement the professional and mass participation triathlon races throughout the weekend from 21-22 March, 2026.

“The T100 is one of the most exciting events to come to this city and is another opportunity to celebrate our sporting culture and passion ahead of the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.

“This is a feather in our sporting cap and the EMQ team is pumped and proud to share in the delivery of another spectacular event for the City of Gold Coast.”

The T100 will feature the world’s greatest triathletes, including local favourite Ashleigh Gentle, and will attract international attention showcasing the Gold Coast’s destination, event management capabilities and commitment to delivering world class events.

“We want T100 weekends to offer a range of opportunities for amateur athletes of all levels to get involved,” said Sam Renouf, PTO CEO.

“From experienced amateurs tackling the 100km distance to first-time swim, bike and run participants taking on single discipline events. The new 10km run is a great example of this approach and we anticipate it being a very popular addition to the schedule.”

The T100 Tour is a global series for the world’s greatest endurance athletes with Queensland’s popular event destination chosen to sit alongside other iconic locations including Singapore, San Francisco, London, Lake Las Vegas, Vancouver, Dubai and Qatar.

The T100 is part of Events Management Queensland’s expanding portfolio of major sporting events which already includes the annual ASICS Gold Coast Marathon, Toowoomba Running Festival and the biennial Pan Pacific Masters Games.

The 2026 T100 Triathlon is supported by Experience Gold Coast and the Queensland Government through Tourism & Events Queensland.
