Save The Date

Join hundreds of youngsters aged between 5 and 14 in the Australia Fair 2km Junior Dash. One parent/guardian may accompany a child if they deem this necessary. Run the same course as some of the world’s greatest athletes and soak up the cheers from family and friends in our famous finish chute.

Training Resources

Whether you are a beginner or a full-time runner, we have plenty of resources to help you arrive on the ASICS Gold Coast Marathon start line in top shape including training programs, expert advice and nutrition tips.

Course Maps

Take in the stunning water views from Sundale Bridge and run alongside the Gold Coast broadwater on our flat, fast and scenic course.

Getting to the Start Line

Whether you drive and park, catch a bus or tram, get dropped off or walk if you are staying close by, it’s important to plan how you’ll get to and from the race precinct. Please ensure you arrive at least one hour before your race.

Start Zones

Ensure you assemble in your start zone as indicated by the letter printed on your race number. Please be aware that anyone found deliberately running out of their designated start zone may be disqualified without a race result. If you would like to update your Start Zone, please visit the Update my Entry portal prior to collection of your race number.

Past Results

See if you achieved a personal best or how you fared against others with our results featuring split times. You can also print off your finisher certificate and share your result socially. Past results are available from 2006 – 2024.

Race Precinct

The Race Precinct is located at the Broadwater Parklands, Marine Parade in Southport. It is where the start and finish lines are located and is the centre of all the action and atmosphere on race weekend.

Policies & Etiquette

Before racing in the Australia Fair 2km Junior Dash it’s important you read and understand the cut off policy, race policy, race etiquette and weather policy. These policies are to ensure the safety of all participants over race weekend.

Finisher Rewards

Celebrate your Australia Fair 2km Junior Dash achievement by collecting your medal and finisher gift in the Recovery Area and download your finisher certificate after the event.

Purchase your medal tab

A Medal Tab is a personalised medal insert, engraved with your name and net time that fits neatly into the back of your finishers’ medal. Purchase one with your registration or after your event.
