ASICS Gold Coast Marathon - Media Accreditation Application
The 46th ASICS Gold Coast Marathon will be held on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026. To apply for media accreditation please read the Event Media Policies and complete the Media Accreditation online form by Friday 12 June. Please note that given the volume of applications we receive and in order to provide media with the best possible access to cover the event there will be limits on access to the finish line media zone and general media mix zones. A confirmation email will be issued to the applicant the week commencing Monday 22 June 2026 advising whether your application has been successful and what access has been allocated for the event this year. It will include details for accreditation collection and other key media service information. Please note:
Due to an increase in requests for accreditation and to best cater for media covering the event there will be two levels of media accreditation and restricted access to the finish line media zone and general media mix zone.
Level 1. Will be broadcast rights holders and official media partners who will have access to the start line, finish line media zone and general media mix zone. These media will be identified with a wrist band and media vest.
Level 2. Will have access to the general media mix zone only. They will not have access to the start/finish line media zone. These media will be identified with a media vest.
Media who wish to file copy and images from the event will be given priority access to a seated powered workstation in the media centre.
