Elite Athlete Assistance Program

The 2018 Gold Coast Marathon is an International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Gold Label Road Race and is a member of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS). The course is officially accredited by Athletics Australia and the IAAF.

Gold Coast Marathon

Oceania athletes

The Gold Coast Marathon will provide assistance to leading Oceania marathon runners to compete in the Gold Coast Marathon. To be considered for assistance runners must be members of a club affiliated with an Oceania Athletics Association member federation (e.g. Athletics Australia, Athletics New Zealand etc.) and be eligible to represent their Oceania country at international level. View the full list of Oceania member federations).

Assistance is guaranteed where times have been set between 1 January 2017 and 9 April 2018.
