Placegetter prize money is available for the overall top five male and female finishers. There is also a separate prize pool for the first, second and third Oceania male and female finishers (no double dipping).

In addition to the prize money there is also fast time incentive money for Oceania marathon runners on offer regardless of finishing place.

The Wheelchair Marathon also has prize money for the overall first, second and third place male and female finishers plus fast time bonuses.
