How to secure your entry with a Charity Place
What are Charity Places?
The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon has provided a limited number of Charity Place Entries to its official Charity Partners. These entries provide successful applicants with a free and guaranteed spot in the 42.195km ASICS Gold Coast Marathon or 21.0975km China Airlines Half Marathon event in exchange for a minimum amount raised for our charity partners.
How much do I need to raise to become a Charity Place Runner?
To secure a Charity Place, applicants must raise at least $2,000 for one of our charity partners. These vital funds will help our charities continue their incredible work, delivering essential services, advancing research, and providing crucial support within our communities.
How do I apply for a Charity Place?

Gold Coast Community Fund
The Gold Coast Community Fund (GCCF) is a charity dedicated to empowering lives and strengthening the heart of our Gold Coast community. For 25 years, the GCCF has offered a hand up – not a handout – to locals doing it tough, including those at risk of homelessness, people escaping domestic violence, individuals and families facing financial hardship, and community members living with a disability who need extra support.
The GCCF is run predominantly by dedicated volunteers, so as you take on the Gold Coast Marathon, you can feel confident knowing your donation is used as effectively as possible to support Gold Coasters in their most challenging moments.
