The 2024 Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS has welcomed 2nu Vision as an event partner of what is shaping up to be a record year for the July 6-7 event.

Paralympic champion endorses new Wheelchair 4km race at the 2024 Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS

The Gold Coast Marathon presented by ASICS will boast one more very special race this year with a Wheelchair 4km event scheduled for Saturday 6 July 2024. Mentor4me CEO, Garth Plank who proposed the race to be included in the weekend program said the race was an opportunity for people with a disability to try wheelchair racing.

Waitlist update

The ASICS Gold Coast Marathon and Half Marathon has reached capacity, and there will be no more large-scale releases of entries available. Existing entrants have until 31 May 2024 to request a refund or change distance. Entries that have been returned for a refund or become available when people transfer out of a race will be released to the waitlist. We will still be honouring the waitlist on a first come, first served basis.
