Race day tips: Sleep in another bed away from your partner so there’s no chance they can wake you up during the night, go to the toilet before you leave for the event to avoid queues and don’t forget the Vaseline.

Race Day tips: Try to keep things as normal as possible. Once you are well hydrated race morning taper back the intake of water pre-race, and don’t over stretch! Relax and enjoy!

Race day tips: Have breakfast. Wear your most comfortable (and best looking) armor. Enjoy the race.  Should do some homework before the race though: know about yourself (your pace, what and when to eat during the race, your outfit) and know about the race (the course, the relief etc)
